OUR STORY
Maryborough and District Western Performance Club Inc. is a proud affiliate of the Australian Quarter Horse Association (AQHA) and the Paint Horse Association of Australia (PHAA).
Founded in Maryborough, QLD, in the early 1990s by Neville Noakes, the club has grown from humble beginnings into a strong and active western performance community that continues to thrive today.
Our shows and clinics are held at the Maryborough Showgrounds & Equestrian Park, conveniently located on the Bruce Highway in Maryborough, Queensland — approximately three hours north of Brisbane.
The grounds are fully equipped for equestrian events, featuring camping facilities, stabling, and a large 70m x 40m undercover arena, making the venue ideal for shows, clinics, and training events year-round.
We host western performance shows offering a diverse program of classes, including halter and a wide range of ridden events, catering to competitors of all levels.
